“Education is teaching our children to desire the right things.” -Plato
In the year 2000, I was a college student and Mr. Chin was the lecturer for electronics and electromagnetics. In 2007, I got my PhD from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Mr. Chin is one of the few educators that you will always remember and keep in touch with. Mr. Chin has helped shape my view on knowledge and the way I learn and think. Mr. Chin’s teaching is very inspiring. Because of his strong fundamental knowledge in mathematics, physics and E&E engineering, he explains difficult concepts/theorems with ease. This makes a complex theorem logical and easier to understand, not to mention you will always remember them.
It is rare to encounter an educator like Mr. Chin. I clearly remembered that in year 2000, Mr. Chin taught me Electromagnetics. By analyzing the Maxwell wave equation (2nd order linear partial differential equation) you can eventually obtain the speed of light. Mr. Chin proceeded and proved that on the board. That was very inspiring for student like me. My inquisitive mind was triggered and inspired to reach for greater heights.
I feel blessed to know Mr. Chin as a person. His encouragements and supports for his students to seek knowledge in depth, cultivate learning attitude, problem solving methodology and thinking skills will inspire new generations to invent and create. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who is serious about mathematics, physics, and any subjects related to E&E engineering.

The stuff here is free. As a token of appreciation, you can post a copy of my solution once in your facebook. And let another friend know about my blog. Best of luck in your exam.
This blog is a depository of sample solution sets to questions posed by my students. If you just have a question or two that is bugging you, you can whatsapp to me. Physics, Maths, Add Maths up to pre-U level. My number 019-311-1599. Email : firstname.lastname@example.org.
The sets here is not in systematic order as I post them once I completed the question. They are mostly A level and IGCSE stuff. The workings are filled with details and explanations. As a rule, the students must show all workings. Don’t let the examiner puzzled and give him or her a hard time how you arrived at a solution.
My solutions may not be free from errors. Gladly appreciate if errors are highlighted to me. Thank you.
